Founded in 1985, NALTA is dedicated to the advancement of the profession of lease and title analysts. NALTA promotes education, networking, and communication. Belonging to NALTA provides you with numerous educational opportunities. Annual conferences bring nationally known speakers together to conduct educational sessions and workshops. The responsibility of training has shifted from corporations to the individual and these training opportunities are growing in importance.

Through NALTA individuals engaged in lease and title work are brought together through common professional interests. The ability to network with other analysts results in the creative exchange of ideas, and benefits members through employment opportunities. NALTA has local chapters in several cities. While most NALTA members enjoy the additional benefits of a local chapter, NALTA also has a significant “At-large” membership not affiliated with a local chapter.

All NALTA members receive the quarterly news magazine, the association’s membership directory and many opportunities for educational advancement and networking. Professional development is your responsibility.

The annual conference offers concurrent educational sessions; those attending can tailor an educational program to their areas of interest. Classes qualify for recertification credits through AAPL and NADOA as well as NALTA. In addition to challenging programs, entertaining events make the conferences as enjoyable as they are informative.

Becoming a Certified Professional Lease and Title Analyst will enhance your expertise and versatility in lease and title work. The certification exam is preceded by an extensive review of the material to be covered in the test. Certification has been a personal and professional goal of many of our members. Achieving this distinction can only be accomplished through the testing process.

In order to keep the CPLTA status distinguished, grandfathering has never been practiced. Being a CPLTA demonstrates commitment to professional development and a high level of expertise to current and prospective employers. Consider certification one of your professional goals. back to top

In addition to education, NALTA offers LEADERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES. Today’s organizational structures offer fewer management and leadership opportunities. Serving on the NALTA board or the board of a local chapter allows you to exercise and build leadership skills. Numerous projects undertaken at national and local levels express the diverse expertise of the organization’s members.

The opportunity to serve on a board and lead the national or local organizations greatly benefits both the individuals who participate and the organization they serve.
